Eiffage and Macquarie close Eiffarie refinancing

Eiffarie, the holding company for the investors in the French motorway network Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhone (APRR), has signed a Eu2.765 billion ($3.67 billion) five-year term loan for the refinancing of its existing holdco debt. In addition, APRR has signed a Eu720 million 5-year revolving credit facility, which will replace its existing undrawn credit facilities at the opco level.

Eiffarie is a holding company for four sets of roads, of which APRR is the most important. Eiffage owns a 50% stake in the company with Macquarie Atlas Roads (19%) and other Macquarie funds (31%) owning the rest....
