TIFIA could delay Tappan Zee design-build

The New York State Thruway Authority and New York State Department of Transportation have submitted a letter of interest for a $2 billion fiscal year 2012 TIFIA loan for the $6 billion Tappan Zee bridge design-build replacement project. The authority says that the US Department of Transportation loan would be backed by revenues from the Thruway system, but the authority and state have not yet...
