* Dana Levenson has been named chief financial officer at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. He will be responsible for the agencys finances, as well as overseeing its real estate and asset development initiatives. Levenson was most recently a managing director responsible for North American infrastructure finance at Royal Bank of Scotland, based in Chicago, and has also worked in Bank Ones capital markets group. He is best known, however, as chief financial officer of the city of Chicago, where he led the lease of the Chicago Skyway, the first privatisation of a US infrastructure asset using a PPP structure, in 2005.
* Michele Beasley has been named general counsel at US developer First Wind. Beasley was most recently senior counsel at Wells Fargo in its securities investment group, but before that was a project finance lawyer at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Chadbourne & Parke.
