Cory Environmental and Wheelabrator Technologies have closed a £200 million ($317.2 million) financing for the 25 year Norfolk B PFI waste concession. The deal, which benefits from £70 million in PFI credits, shows that although waste might be the least standardised asset in the UK's PFI framework, there is still plenty of lender appetite, especially for vanilla energy from waste projects.
